5 Easy Steps to Making a Massive Difference, Effortlessly

5 Easy Steps to Making a Massive Difference, Effortlessly

Do you think you need a specific certification, training program, or meditate for hours to figure out your purpose and create a massive difference?

Think again.

Here’s how to design a purpose-filled life and make a Massive Difference effortlessly.

It’s a question I often get from my clients.

Recently I got certified with the International Coaching Federation – the gold standard in professional coaching. I added this to my existing certification with the Human Potential Coaching Institute.

I didn’t make a big deal out of it.

Why?

You can do what you love without having credentials.

Consider this your permission granted.

I’m the founder of the Unhustle® Movement, teaching people how to end the cult of productivity and guiding business leaders to go from mindless doing to mindful being by claiming back their well-being, joy, and human potential.

That’s a lot more than just coaching.

I’m writing a book, have a podcast, conduct company trainings, host retreats and company events in Baja, show up for keynote speaking at places like World Economic Forum and Wisdom2.0 and host the Unhustle underground community. OH Yeah, and I coach a few lucky souls on a 1:on:1 basis.

I’m making a massive difference. Did I need a certification to do this?

No.

All you need is clarity and courage to act.

I’ve been on the Unhustle® journey since 2013 and made it a business in 2018. I have four years and four months of mastery (still on that journey daily) and 50 years in the School of Life. When you live what you preach,  you don’t need external validation to prove your worth.

Here’s how to slow down so you can go fast and do something that fulfills you instead of drains you.

The Unhustle® Mini Playbook to Making a Massive Difference Effortlessly:

1. Explore with curiosity.

Make a list of 25 things you’re curious about. Use pen and paper to stay more grounded, avoid distractions and let your creativity flow. Then, make yourself a nice cup of coffee/tea/wine/ salty margarita (oh, wait, that’s me), find a quiet place, and let it go. Don’t edit; just let all the ideas on paper.

Let me pull an old journal to show you. (Ruffling through the desk drawer.)

3. Build-in public.

Now that you know where you want to go, start building in public.

This means start sharing what you’re learning along the time. Unfortunately, too many of us get stuck in imposter syndrome – not feeling ready to show up publicly. It happened to me too.

Let biology help you out.

When you get positive public feedback, you’re adding oxytocin to your brain. Start talking to people, speaking on podcasts, writing, start a Facebook group, an online community, a book club – whatever fits your passion.

Of course, you need to share a message that resonates and create valuable content – otherwise, people won’t share positive feedback like this.

4. Fuel with Massive Transformative Purpose

Based on the work of psychologists Edward Deci and Richard Ryan and their self-determination theory (SDT), humans have a deep desire to relate to each other, connect and care.

In other words, purpose can be a vast internal motivating factor. Steven Kotler calls it Massive Transformative Purpose. A purpose-filled life can increase your well-being and boost your motivation, productivity, resilience, and focus. It can also ward off stroke, dementia, cardiovascular disease, and depression incidents.

The desire to do something that matters to others has large internal and external benefits.

I zoomed through the pandemic relatively easily. That’s because I had a massive transformative purpose (pun intended).

5. Make a Massive Difference

If you want to figure out a Big Transformative Purpose, you need a Massive Transformative Problem to solve.

Go back to your journal and see what Massive Problem you want to solve. I’m on a mission to eradicate Hustle Culture and rebel to live and work well.

Beyonce just released her new summer hit – Break My Soul. The lyrics include how to end the Grind Culture, release the stress and Reclaim Peace of Mind.

We’re going mainstream.

Once you have a clear MVP – turn it into a business.

You’ll have the internal motivation to keep going and an excellent foundation for commercial enterprise with patient profit.

Turn curiosity into passion, passion into purpose, and purpose into success by taking the long, steady, and slow road to make a massive difference with sustainable success.

Most people give up before they reach their goal.

That’s because you must stay in the game long enough to achieve your purpose.

Slow and steady is the path to making a massive difference.

Do the meaningful work that lights you up, commit to getting better at what you do, stay present, remain curious, explore your passions, and have a massive purpose – these five triggers alone will enable you to achieve flow.
