There’s no New Normal, only a New Way of Living

The time is now for a new way of living

The COVID-19 pandemic has shaken up our world. We are either working harder than ever or not working at all. The pandemic has made it clear that we can no longer continue to work and live the way we did – always on, always rushing to the next thing, always pursuing our business goals at the expense of our health, relationships, and humanity.

Before the pandemic hit, we had turned into a society of mass-addictions – social media, technology, drugs, consumerism, and work. We worked more, but we were less happy. We were more connected than ever, but almost half of Americans reported feeling lonely. (Source: Cigna 2018 U.S. Loneliness Survey). Approximately 50% of Americans didn’t take their vacations, but the country produced less than other developed countries. We were stressed out. We were burnout. We had mental health problems. Our Normal before wasn’t so normal.  Before COVID-19 we struggled to find the time, find balance, and find ways to get out of our robot routine of sleep, eat, work, repeat.

Some of these unhealthy habits are getting even worse now- drinking, smoking, TV binge-watching are on the rise. And yet, calls for productivity on social media and in the news continue – declutter your house, learn a new language, start a new exercise routine, make sure to respond to messages right away.

Can this crisis be our wake – up call?

We are never going back to the old ways, and this may be a good thing. In the midst of a crisis, we have a chance to reevaluate our priorities. Can we look at this pandemic as our chance for a reset? Is this our call to go back to being more human? To let ourselves rest and recharge? To find joy in being outdoors, without our phones? To connect with human beings in real life? To work with intention and build businesses and still have a life?

Transformation rarely happens without a catalyst. COVID-19 is our catalyst. We are in a profound state of change, and at the end of it, something beautiful will emerge, just like a butterfly is born out of the caterpillar.

It’s time for us to awaken. It’s time to shift our perspective. There is no going back.

There’s no New Normal – only a New Way of Living

My solution is to create a global online community where people can connect, learn, and find ways to create this new way of living. I call it Unhustle.

A few years back, I went through a transformation in my own life to step out of the chronic stress, hustle, and burnout and create a life based on my values. I found equanimity. I no longer subscribe to what society says success looks like. For the past two years, I have mentored and coached people using the Unhustle Method on how to manage stress and feelings of overwhelm and burnout. How  to create a life and a business with more success and less struggle, with more balance and less hustle, with more well-being and real success and less sacrifices. Our goal is to work less, achieve more and live fully.

Today I’m welcoming new people who want to come out of these challenging times ready to create their new future. I’ll be providing free resources each week, so make sure to sign up for our newsletter

We have opened the doors to our membership program for the first 50 people committed to progress.
